Early morning depart from Moscow to Vladimir.

The history of Vladimir begins in 1108 when the Kiev Prince Vladimir Monomakh established a fortress to protect the south-eastern borders of the Rostov principality and gave his name to the new town. In the middle of the 12th century Vladimir became the center of the old Russian lands and the seat of Russian grand princes. However in the course of history Vladimir lost its central position and has developed to become a regional city of 313 thou. residents. The main places of interest are concentrated along Big Moscow Street - the Golden Gate of the 12th century that has been welcoming visitors coming to Vladimir by the Moscow road, the Assumption and St. Demetrius Cathedrals – architectural monuments of the 12th century.

After lunch, travel to Bogolubovo.
Bogolubov Convent of the 12th century, residence of Prince Andrew Bogolubsky (Loved by God). Option available in good weather: walking through meadows (30 min) towards Pokrova-na-Nerli (Virgin's Intercession on the Nerl' River) Church (UNESCO site)

Depart to Suzdal (40 km from Vladimir).
The whole town of Suzdal can be rightly called a cultural preserve. On the area of 12 square kilometers there are about 200 landmarks including 50 churches and cathedrals - no other Russian town can boast of so much history concentrated on such a small area.
